Templates Explained
The SalesBOS PLFS™ system is completely flexible and customizable. The purpose of a PLFS™ is to replace the generic and plain MLS® provided feature sheet with a high quality professional looking brochure. All the same information is included (down to room sizes,etc.) but in a more professional looking package.
The design of a PLFS™ is broken into the following components:
- Templates - provide the structure and framework. In the majority of cases PLFS™ users use an existing template. For specific layout needs or wants a custom template can be designed for a fee.
- Style - provides the images and colour scheme used. Style is broken in multiple components.
- Header - The header image can be selected from a growing list of available options. Note that headers are specific to templates to ensure the layout works in conjunction with the images. It is usually the header and footer that includes elements related to your company/agency. Some designes are very company centric while others are more regional/generic with just the company name in text.
- A custom header that is consistent with your existing marketing materials/brand can be created as part of the Customization Option. However for any listing you could select an alternate header if desired.
- Footer - The footer image can be selected from a list of options. Note that headers are specific to templates to ensure the layout works in conjunction with the images.
- A custom footer can also be used and is usually part of the Customization Option. However for any listing you could select an alternate footer if desired.
- Colour & Text - You can customize the colour and text font for many components of a template to reflect your desired image and ensure readability based on the type of header/footer you select.
- Header - The header image can be selected from a growing list of available options. Note that headers are specific to templates to ensure the layout works in conjunction with the images. It is usually the header and footer that includes elements related to your company/agency. - Personalization - is the inclusion of your contact info and picture if provided.
- Listing Customization - is the customization of the PLFS™ for the specific listing. All the information for the listing is automatically taken directly from your board’s MLS® system. Read more about which boards are serviced. Their are two elements to the listing customization of a PLFS™: Property Promotion & Property Detail
- Property Promotion/Presentation
- Title, address, price, highlight points and description are all fields that are automatically populated using listing data but can be further customized as desired.
- Make selected listing pictures the background images of the page.
- Change the order of the pictures and which pictures are included.

- Almost all the details of the property that currently existing in a standard public feature sheet are automatically loaded from the MLS® system. Currently none of these details can be modified however the ability to do so is planned for the future.
